TPF Recruitment is excited to support a fantastic, family-run, independent accountancy practice in their search for a dedicated Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in Hove. This is a superb opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 1 year of practice experience who is eager to progress and develop their career through either the AAT or ACCA qualification.
About the Role:
As a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant, you will be exposed to a diverse range of responsibilities within a mixed position, ensuring that no two days are the same. This role will provide you with vast exposure to various accounting functions, including but not limited to:
- Preparing financial statements
- Handling tax computations and returns
- Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting with audits (30% of the role)
- Supporting and advising clients on accounting and business matters
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 1 year of practice experience
- Ambition to pursue AAT or ACCA qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, family-run environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
