About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our growing team at Radiant Financial Planning Limited. In this key role, you’ll provide full paraplanning support to our Financial Planners, ensuring exceptional client service, technical accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all advice provided.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting research, building cash flow models, and supporting the end-to-end advice process to help deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Paraplanning & Client Support
• Prepare and maintain accurate client files and documentation
• Support Financial Planners with client reviews and cash flow modelling
• Conduct thorough research to identify suitable financial planning solutions
• Draft high-quality suitability reports and prepare supporting recommendation materials
• Liaise with clients’ legal and tax advisers where necessary
• Support with the implementation of advice, including applications and compliance checks
• Contribute to building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships
Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Ensure all activity aligns with FCA regulations and internal standards
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, including Consumer Duty principles
• Uphold high standards of documentation and record-keeping
• Attend relevant training to support ongoing competence and CPD
Consumer Duty Responsibilities
You will be expected to embed the four key pillars of Consumer Duty into your day-to-day work:
• Consumer Understanding – Ensuring clients have the right information at the right time
• Price and Value – Ensuring the recommendations deliver fair value
• Product and Services – Ensuring suitability and appropriate outcomes
• Consumer Support – Ensuring service is responsive, accessible, and effective
Employees may also be required from time to time to carry out additional duties as requested by their manager.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge & Expertise
• Strong understanding of financial planning concepts across pensions, investments, and protection
• Experience building cash flow models and preparing suitability reports
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and financial research tools
Experience & Qualifications
• Previous paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management firm
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards it)
• Experience liaising with professional advisers (e.g. solicitors, accountants) is an advantage
